 The Bimah, Cincinnati’s First and Only Hyper-Local, Interactive Jewish Community News Site Launched on Sunday, January 30, 2011.

TheBimah.com, Cincinnati’s first and ONLY daily, interactive online Jewish community news website, launched on SUNDAY, JANUARY 30, 2011. The switch was flipped at 10:00 a.m. during “The Bimah Bagel Bash” at Marx Hot Bagels, 9701 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash.

TheBimah.com is a hyper-local, advertiser-supported website which will feature news from the community’s many organizations, synagogues, temples, academic and cultural institutions. Every business day, organizations and congregations are invited to submit their latest news, events, photos and programming—keeping the community up-to-date on upcoming activities, events and special announcements.

The Bimah’s staff reporters will also post stories on community news and events.Users will be required to register to upload content or participate in the site’s interactive features, but all site functions, registrations and content are FREE.Registered users can upload social news and photos announcing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, birth announcements, anniversaries, birthdays, academic achievements, job promotions, and other honors and awards. Interactive features include “The Daily Kibbitz”—a blog on timely topics; a recipe exchange, videos, lifestyle essays and more.
